Simple Tips for Bench Maintenance

1. Regular Cleaning (Every 3–6 Months)

Use warm water, a soft cloth or sponge, and mild soap
Gently wipe down all surfaces, including engraved areas
Avoid abrasive pads or harsh cleaners that can damage the finish
Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry

2. Check for Damage or Wear

Inspect the bench annually for chips, scratches, or surface rust
Look for any signs of movement in bolts or fittings
Notify us if any part needs attention or re-coating

3. Touch-Ups (If Needed)

We offer touch-up kits for minor chips or scuffs in the coating
If more extensive work is needed, we can arrange a quotation for a professional refinish

4. Keep Surroundings Clear

Avoid letting plants, leaves, or debris build up around the bench
This helps prevent moisture pooling and preserves the base fixings

Rust Prevention & Surface Coating

Our benches are treated with rust-resistant finishes that are designed for outdoor use. Depending on your chosen finish (galvanised or powder-coated), the level of natural ageing may vary slightly over time — but the structural integrity will remain for decades with minimal care.

If your bench is placed near the sea, in a woodland area, or exposed to high salt or pollution, we can offer additional coatings or maintenance advice suited to the location.
